Digipak Plan and Ideas
As a group we have put together a basic demo of our front cover, following ideas for the other sides.
This image portrays the strength of the band members, highlighting their masculinity and power. We will continue to use the 'boxing' theme throughout the digipak images to keep portraying this message that they are 'willing to fight for their music'. Hence in our music video why we are using music as a weapon against the suits. The dog also symbolises a form of protection, portraying how the band wish to say 'if you follow us we'll protect you' as a way of telling their fans that they will never let them down. Also seeing as the dog in the middle of the image is a Boxer dog, "Boxers have earned a slight reputation of being "headstrong," which can be related to inappropriate obedience training. Owing to their intelligence and working breed characteristics, training based on corrections often has limited usefulness." - This highlights how the band behaves the same way, that if they are treated inadequately then they rebel. Therefore this symbolises the same image our band wish to portray. Finally the Font of the writing is named 'Grim City'. The bottom of each letter has a skyline outline, giving it a very urban look. This also contributes to the image we wish to portray for our band, that they may come from the same background as you, but have made something from their lives.
The Back - This will have an image of a single boxing glove on a black background. We will use the union jack or yellow coloured glove to keep with our star image. Yellow - to portray danger and warning against a black background. Or the Union Jack - to keep the patriotic theme of the band.
The back will also contain track list, copyright laws all in yellow font.

On the left inside cover, we were thinking of using the same skyline theme of buildings but with a spray paint touch. Using an image like this for our inspiration. Whereas the buildings will be yellow against a black background with some yellow pray paint blobs or smudges.
Finally on the right inside cover, beneath the CD we plan to have an image of the dog looking vicious. This is to show that this band is bad, rebellious and shouldn't be messed with. The dog will be in colour rather than previously in black and white and will also be against a yellow background. The dog will look a bit like this.
